  My 11-year-old daughter is having migraines!

  okay, y'all, get out your experiences, thinking caps, and remedies.

  jennie is 11 (will be 12 in october).

  this year she has started to show all of the classic signs of puberty, and a couple of weeks ago had cramps about the same time as my cycle.

  I used to get 'em when I was about 13-16 years old. I don't recall where I heard this, but room-temperature Diet Coke sipped slowly used to get rid of them every time. I figured out that chocolate was the culprit, and havn't had one since. It worked for me, I guess it's worth a try.

  I'm with Legolas on this one. I tried to watch it (sober, by the way) on Wednesday night with my roommate, and we both looked at each other at the same time, about 30 minutes into it, and both exclaimed in stereo, "this movie f##king sucks!". We shut it off and turned on the X-box.

  i was one, when in, that believed it was the best thing to share your talents with those of the bretheren.

  where you a plumber, a carpenter, an auto mechanic?

  then it would behoove you to take those skills and give them to the community of your brothers and sisters.

  I used to work for an old Japanese Brother who owned a landscaping business. Guess who got to plant all the flowers and shrubs at all the two-day builds as well as lay all the sod. Me das' who. Anytime anyone in the Hall needed a sprinkler system installed I was the GTG as well. Old Japanese bro paid me $2.25 an hour to labor all day in the desert heat to boot. Stingy old codger.

  I grew up in da Troof in SLC. and tdogg is correct, DC's were always held at the Dee Events Center in Ogden, UT. As a kid I almost relished the hour-long car ride every morning compared with what awaited me at the end. I remember being really offended when the WTS went to the modern-day dramas instead of just the bible-era ones.

  i don't know how many of you knew this, but i've been looking for a job.

  i submitted an app to a local burger joint, and one to a really good chicken place called zaxby's.

  i had an interview yesterday at the burger place.

  when i got out of the dumbs, i use to cuss non-stop i think as a pathetic tactic to make worldy people think i was a little more worldy.

  i still swear from time to time, and foul language does not offend me at all, but i was talking to my sister the other day, she just turned 21, has discovered alcohol, is currently on public reproof, and i think is really close to being on her way out herself.

  she cursed like a sailor the whole time i was talking to her.

  so to even question their beliefs and wonder what they mean, has been no interest to me.

  yet when i am watching something that should not even be about religion and they mention something that makes me wonder, i have to ask.

  Any of you guys ever see "Orgazmo". It's a live-action flick by Trey Parker and Matt Stone (the South Park writers) about a Mormon missionary in L.A. who becomes a pornstar so that he afford to get married in the Temple. This is one of the funniest movies ever, but can be a little hard to find.
